PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS FOR THE OLD VERSION OF FACEBOOK. IT WILL NOT WORK RIGHT ON THE NEW VERSION! FOR THE NEW VERSION OF FACEBOOK, USE THIS STYLE: New Facebook, darkly w/o adds sadly the new facebook is pretty incompatible with the old, so this style will not function properly on it, so follow the link for the new version. Well, this is mostly a culmination of other styles plus my asthetic tweaks. I tended to compound "Facebook facelift" By alaaaaaaaaan, "Facebook - Black gloss" By xavio, and "Facebook Always Expand Applications", By ericush.....so i decided to simplify things and make them all one, and tweak it a bit more to my liking. A simpler yet still ornate dark and blue fb style. I've noticed alot of styles, including my own, actually slowing down fb, due to how big fb and the styles themselves got. So, lightweight and simple style using only a few things to pretty it up.
Based on Google - Dark Shiny Blue, transparency by DaedalusIcarusHelios, this adds googlepedia fixes, so googlepedia fits in the style, as well as a few aesthetic and functionality additions. all images and backgrounds are originals of his or tweaked from his originals.
please note, this has only been tested for premium users! It will most likely screw stuff up for non-premiums, so use at your own risk for now if your not a premium user on mega-upload. This strips the page down to nothing but the download button, and the file description. Not pretty, but speeds things up and gets rid of the crap.
*update July 09* Sorry I've neglected the style so long, now with fixes for the changes done by facebook, mostly routine maintenance* *NEWER UPDATE, MARCH 25* ok, so, got the filter list permanently expanded. it was tiny length so i doubt that anyone will argue that it's inconvenient to have the full list, especially when the feed is 5 pages long. a few other minor fixes *UPDATE* ok i've been busy but i've managed to do some work to.....make the style unretarding of your views. its not fixed by a long shot, but at least for feed and prof it should be alot more survivable. several updates and slow afternoon at work later, it should be nearly back to old, with a few enhaces. profile page header now looks more like a header, and that annoying 2nd tab row is less likely to occur. I adjusted several things to not waste so much space, as the facebook founder tends to think sloppily shoving graphics to the next line is better than stretching a css box.... P
Just a simple ad-killer, tried to make it as uninvasive and non-redesigning as possible. if you notice anything disseapearing that shouldnt, or a missed ad/sponsored link section, make a comment bout it please.

Black, blue, greyed and glossed, with NO adds: Well, this has a similar feel. Transparencys! darkness! original pictures and such! it's awesome! The adds are removed, both facebook sponsored in the minifeed and the ones on the side. This is the beta, so there will be fixes for hard to see text and such. I wouldnt expect any drastic changes from this point, just several improvements. Please note, this uses alot of PNG semitransparency things. In other words, it might not work well at all on old browsers. If you have one of the relatively knew versions of firefox, you should be good.
