Auto-hide tab bar

I searched userstyles.org briefly to see if someone had already created a method to autohide the tab bar. I wasn't able to find any styles that do this, so I created the code myself for a separate style I designed (http://userstyles.org/styles/14775). If by some chance I missed someone else's style that already offers this feature, I apologize ahead of time for duplicating efforts. This style autohides the tab bar. To retrieve the bar, simply/place hover your cursor just below Firefox's upper set of toolbars.

Firefox Dark Persona Optimized

This style attempts to maximize screen real estate with some aesthetics. Specifically, it does the following: 1. Slims navigation bar 2. Adds gradient to url bar 3. Restyles drop down menus (including url bar drop down) 4. Restyles Firefox application button 5. Makes a few of the default toolbar buttons more colorful 6. Slims and sharpens tab bar 7. Removes "list all tabs" and "group tabs" buttons 8. Autohides status/add-on bar (hover over bottom right-hand corner of Firefox window to make it appear) If you don't like one of these features, simply delete it from the style's code under the relevant heading.

Gmail Redesigned... and then some

This style modifies the Gmail style included in this add-on (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/search?q=google+redesigned&cat=all). Please install this add-on before using my style. Here are some of the modifications I made to the original Gmail Redesigned style to suit my needs: 1. Email list scrolls (thanks to http://userstyles.org/styles/7013) 2. Removed Contacts button, Tasks button, and "Invite a friend" box, since I don't use these. 3. Removed "Archive", "Labels", and "Move to" buttons from upper toolbar, since I don't use these. 4. Repositioned "Print all", "New window", "Expand/Collapse all", "Turn off/on highlighting" buttons. Removed "Forward all" button. 5. Removed stars and labels, since I don't use these, and repositioned dates/times in email list 6. You will notice other adjustments as well, but I've covered the important items that won't be displayed

Google Search 20/20

I created the style with a 19" wide screen monitor, so you will have to adjust for other screen sizes. If you want to take full advantage of this style, increase the number of results that Google displays to 100. You can change this using Settings, located in the upper right hand corner of Google search webpages. This requires that you disable Google instant results. To change the number of columns displayed change the following 3s to 2s. #res.med > div { -moz-column-count: 3 !important; } #rso { -moz-column-count: 3 !important; } This style removes the new Google sidebar and includes a fixed navigation bar located in the top right hand corner of the browsing window. This style benefits from multi-column view featured in http://userstyles.org/styles/18639, as well as removing the side bar featured in http://userstyles.org/styles/11373.

GReader Redesigned... and then some

This style is designed to work in tandem with the original Redesigned style (http://www.globexdesigns.com). Additional changes I made: 1. Slight modifications to positioning of elements on Home page and removed footer 2. Removed "Starred items", "Your stuff", "Notes", "Trends", "Browse for stuff", "Learn more", and sharing sidebar buttons 3. Modified "Add Subscriptions" button font colors and height (made it adjustable based on # of feeds) 4. Repositioned buttons in feed list header bar and removed details link 5. Removed stars and put "go to article" buttons in their place 6. Removed "Add star", "Share", "Share with note", and "Edit tags" buttons in preview pane 7. Other less prominent changes Updates: 9/8/10 -- Addressed changes made to code 1/31/11 -- Made a few minor changes, including absolving the need to adjust the length of the feed list for different monitors. 6/27/11 -- Updated to address Google code changes 6/28/11 -- Made a few more adjustments

Noia eXtreme theme optimized

This style is meant for use with the Noia eXtreme theme. It slims the tabs bar, reduces the navigation toolbar margins, and autohides the status bar (thanks to code pulled from pitdicker's style... http://userstyles.org/styles/9774) to maximize screen real estate. To see the status bar, just hover over the bottom of the browser window where it is usually displayed. Any of these features can easily be removed in the style by removing the code under each of the three headings. If you combine this style with the Autohide add-on (http://www.krickelkrackel.de/autohide/) to maintain the Windows taskbar when using full screen mode (access the menu bar using the Alt button as needed), I haven't found a better setup yet. Also check out my "Twilight awesome and search bars" (http://userstyles.org/styles/12845) style (also for use with the Noia eXtreme theme) to dim the url/location bar when not in use. Updates: 7/14/09 -- Had accidentally removed close button on all browser bars.

OLD userstyles.org style - blue/tan/white scheme

This is basically an update for the following userstyle by Valacar: http://userstyles.org/styles/1210 I used Dr. Takato's style (http://userstyles.org/styles/19263) to return userstyles.org to its former layout and changed a few settings in the original Valacar style to make it compatible. I also changed a couple of borders and the color of the install box background to suit my preferences. Updates: 7/9/09 -- Rounded the bottom corners of the body element. 8/20/09 -- Increased margins of light gray box, since they were too small. 8/29/09 -- Increased padding at bottom of light gray box, since there wasn't enough. 10/11/09 -- Just realized I had a separate script that affected this one. Combined them.

Twilight awesome and search bars (for Noia theme)

This style only displays correctly when the Noia 2.0 eXtreme Firefox theme is installed. I use the dark version of the Noia theme, which turns the menu bar and toolbars black. To use this version, install the Noia 2.0 theme, open the Firefox add-ons manager, go to Themes, right-click on the Noia 2.0 theme, and select Dark Noia theme. You may need to adjust the margin for "#editBookmarkPanel { margin-left: 750px !important; }" listed at the very beginning of the style, for your monitor size. Awesome/location and search bar mods: 1. Shades bars until hovered over or selected 2. Removes feed button, star button, and autocomplete dropmarker from awesome/location bar 3. Removes go button from search bar 4. Shrinks and changes look of autocomplete drop down menu tree rows to dark black (using Noia 2.0 eXtreme theme graphic) with white text 5. Highlights text and border of rows in blue when selected (note: blue borders don't show up well in below pic) 6. Prevents urls, tags,

Twilight Awesome Foobar

This is a version of my "Twilight awesome and search bars (for Noia theme)" style (http://userstyles.org/styles/12845) that is compatible with the foobar add-on. The foobar add-on combines the url/awesome and search bars. Make sure in foobar you select the "Rich" option for "Suggestion popup style:"
