Destroys the cities on the eastern side of the home page.
A tweak to my Craigslist of Steel, for a hint of color (guess which). I played with the "for sale" pages' colors, too, since Craig's red is a little jarring in comparison to my choices. The "Rockwell" font can be found out there for free: http://bit.ly/10lOaF
This is just a color/font tweak for the site. It's what I'm using, so I thought I'd share. If you'd like to try the same basic style with a little extra color, there's Craigslist of S'Teal. The "Rockwell" font can be found out there for free: http://bit.ly/10lOaF
This one centers Compendium stat blocks that have been loaded into a new tabs and surrounds them with a dashed line. (I like to use the Windows Snipping Tool to save creature and item blocks as images so I can quickly reference them during my games; this style helps speed up the process a bit.) 6/29 - Minor update: I think the stat blocks look better with the Georgia font (as in the preview pics below), so in it goes. Delete the font line if you want the standard look.
This one centers Compendium stat blocks that have been loaded into new tabs, and surrounds them with a gray outset line while changing that page's background color to silver. It looks like a raised thingum in a dungeon, get it? WHOA -- it's like you're RIGHT there, IN a dungeon, NEAR a thingum... :-o 6/29 - Minor update: I think the stat blocks look better with the Georgia font (as in the preview pics below), so in it goes. Delete the font line if you want the standard look. :-o
This'll subtract the "+1" buttons from the search-results page.
Bumps up the size of all text to fill in some of that negative space, and changes the font to Georgia. I like it, you might. I've found this works well with Magiccards.info - Priceless. I'm a casual Magic player who uses the Magiccards.info search engine for its versatility and large color scans of individual cards. I don't need prices cluttering up the full card view, so I made this simple style to zap their tables. This style, like the one I made for Yahoo! Mail, removes the "Now Trending" tripe from the top of the page.
Here's another page-cleaning style, for Time.com. I read and enjoy their site, but think it's hilarious that this media outlet which calls it self "Time" aims to make you waste the stuff with a steady stream of mid-story links to articles that are often only barely related to what you're reading. These "see" links irritate me -- I find they can interrupt the flow of what is an otherwise well-written article. (See the Top 10 usages of the word "flow".) See what I mean? Well, now you don't have to. Also, I've found this combines well with time.com - Minimalist by AloisHammer.
