Styles
The purpose of this style is to remove all the annoying toolbars, dropdowns, and popups that frequently serve to distract me from pages I would otherwise enjoy. My basic standard for considering something "junk" to remove is that it covers up the primary content of the page in some way that annoys me. I cannot wait until the collective web recognizes this junk for the blink_tag_2.0 that it is: Obnoxious and unnecessary.
Get rid of the leaderboard ad space, the AMG logo, and the Site Menu. Cleans up allmusic.com biography pages. Shift stuff up to fill the gap. Does this to allmusic.com, allmovie.com, allgame.com.
Removes the fields that spam for the paid service, as well as the footer. Aligns things that you might use in a free download to the center of the screen, for less searching.
Firefox about:blank page with an almost black color instead of that harsh white. Inspired by the about:blank styles with logos. Then I got sick of the logos. With this style, there is no logo that will ever get old or out of date!!! Nothing but the color. Works with the latest FF update. 2011 02 09 - Updated to not conflict with Gmail Replies 2011 01 03 - Updated to keep function.
Compilation of my personal preferences for the Firefox UI. Intended for moving all navigation items into the File menu bar and hiding the navigation toolbar altogether. Changed to display the Edit menu and the "Copy email address" context entry. Literally just Ffx context-menu: extreme minimalism! , Remove Edit and Help menu and a couple of other userchrome.css tweaks: Hide inactive navigation buttons Hide most top-level menu items Minimize context menu Check out the styles by sethaurus and Gina Trapani.
This style removes: the Gmail logo, border lines between messages in your inbox, and some other links on the bottom and right of the page. It also centers the search bar. It is intended to function independently of color styles like Gmail - Colors Tweak - Grey & Green (Dark) 2011 11 08 - Commented out the removal of the message meta-pane. Not sure if this needs "cleaning up," so you can un-comment it if you want to hide that stuff when viewing messages. 2011 05 03 - Div class for Gmail logo changed
Intended to use with Gmail - Cleanup, but wanted to keep the color scheme independent of other modifications. I'm going to completely redo this.
Have you wanted the first letter of emails you receive to be gigantic, stand out from the rest of the text, and be generally ridiculous and/or illegible? Today's your lucky day. The code installed through the "Install..." and "Load..." buttons will not include a custom font. The fancy font takes up a lot of space, so get the entire style here: http://paste.ubuntu.com/712734/ Then copy/paste it over. See the comments for instructions on manually encoding another font. You can change the font color to whatever you want. I prefer the red and gold colors that are commented into the end of the code. Suggestions are welcome. 2011 06 07 - Restricted to first child objects to avoid extra drop-caps. 2009 11 25 - Included apostrophe in font data and made new screenshots 2009 11 19 - Changed text shadow to gold color 2009 11 17 - I made the red font color slightly darker.
This is a dark style for the Google Login Screens. Since they all use very similar pages, this is a general style for all of them. I included specific logos for Gmail and Voice. If there's space in the style, I might add logos for other sites in the future. This style was a part of Gmail - Colors Tweak - Grey & Green (Dark) but I separated them so we can use either. 2011 09 29 - Updated for new global login screens, combined logo from Voice. Moved logo. 2009 11 15 - Included style for logout screen as well. 2009 12 29 - Replaced logo
Will be making incremental fixes now that the new Big-Red-Buttons site is out. It changes the Google Docs page to a grey and green color scheme, and rearranges some of the headers to clean up a bit. I am trying to leave the document edit/compose fields untouched, so that there isn't any interference with what you are trying to create or edit. I'm also replacing a few images as necessary, but haven't done the entire site. I'll probably just finish the editors for the document types I use less frequently when I actually start to use those document types. It matches Gmail - Colors Tweak - Grey & Green (Dark) Google Reader - Colors Tweak - Grey & Green (Dark) Google Voice - Colors Tweak - Grey & Green (Dark) Photobucket - Colors Tweak - Grey & Green (Dark) Stumbleupon - Colors Tweak - Grey & Green (Dark)
