Styles
An old legacy style for Firefox 3.x. It might work in Firefox 7 (somewhat).
I developed this style because I thought "Awesome Bar Background Color Based on Type (WOW) *" was a bit much. Since it is based off of this style, it is exactly like it in every way, except for coloring the background, it affects the text. Bookmarked items are in bold Tagged items are italicized Address bar text matching page titles are in the same color as Aero highlight background Address bar text matching URL colored black Optionally, decomment any of the "text-decoration" declarations to remove underlines. It's considerably more sensible than the style that inspired this, in my opinion. But since no background declarations have been specified in this style, it plays nice with "Awesome Bar Background Color Based on Type (WOW) *". UPDATE: Never code when you're not in your right mind. Fixed a few things up in it. Also, could not remove underline from unselected URLs for some odd reason.
This style allows you to change the images Firefox uses for the RSS icon in the URL bar. If that little orange thing is ruining how your theme looks, you can replace it easily with this style. Three images are suggested, but not required. One for the inactive state, another for the hover state and yet another for the active state. By default, a modified version of the Firefox RSS button in blue is what you'll receive with this style. If you wish to change it, replace the data URIs with your own (recommended), add a path to the file on your local machine (file:///*) or use web page URLs (NOT recommended) Many thanks go to squiddy22 and ChoGGi, without these two this would have never happened. Thanks to everyone else who pushes code onto this website, without them np wouldn't have an excuse to keep this place up. :P
This is just a compilation of styles to follow a consistent theme. While I had no permission to use all of these styles and tweak them to my preferences, credit is due in the code. If this is your first time dealing with CSS, then not only are you brave and ambitious, but a bit crazy in my opinion. Regardless, I added notes on what you can change if you don't like the styles initially. Please choose to read the stuff in the code before you apply it, as it'll come in handy. As for the lack of images, look in the original styles I used to get an idea of what'll happen. While of course, since I changed it, it'll resemble nothing like the screens, I believe the black and blue theme very soothing, and how it looks rather modern.
This is a style compilation. Read the code for credits and what to change while using this style for best results. I cannot stress this enough. Click the preview button before you save anything you've done.At least if you messed something, you can revert to the old changes by using the keyboard to undo or cancel and discard changes altogether. UPDATE: This style now has fixed find bar preferences, so an image finally occupies that now!
For those of us Glasser users who do not click "Print" without abandon. Style conforms to |2eason's sidebar CSS found here: http://userstyles.org/styles/20412 Future plans: Modify http://userstyles.org/styles/20412 so textbox preferences do not apply to the page number UPDATE: Boo-boo on my part, forgot to add opacity to the textbox. :P
[Leave comments below! ;)] I created this "Style" as a novice's guide into the world of glasser. This is not a style, so do not install. In fact it would be better left in the forums (http://forum.userstyles.org), but I am posting it here for all to see and find.
TabGroups Manager is an extension that integrates with Firefox's Panorama feature, giving you one-click access to tabs so you don't need to zoom out and view all your tabs at once whenever you want to access a webpage. Unfortunately, the icons used look a little bit dated, and the tabs don't match Firefox's style. This style was primarily created to address a problem in TabGroups Manager, to better integrate the Firefox style into it. It also better integrates it with Personas. Usually, when you use a persona, the TGM tabs remain white, opaque and ugly. Using this style fixes this problem, by theming to match the look and feel of the normal Firefox tabs.
I made this entirely out of boredom. Functions are as follows: Changes Fx 3.* New Tab button width Changes New Tab Button Position button width (obsolete in 3.1) Maintains width for tab scroll arrows, tab menu Keeps width of all mentioned buttons uniform. Decommenting the code on the bottom will also remove the 3.1 New Tab button altogether, should you feel you don't need it.. Changing the width of this extension can also help in making the buttons more larger, do you feel the need to give yourself a larger click target area.
Reclaim address bar space via hiding the security certificate identity that resides in the address bar. Compatible with Firefox 4, reverse-compatible with versions prior. In Firefox 4, there is an extra bit of CSS for the country code. Comment that out if you'd like to see where your secure website is connecting to.
