This yet another version of about:blank simply uses system native colors on its apps. It is based on the theory that about:blank is used on another places of Firefox. This style and its philosophy were based on paintless - proper about:blank by whatrevolution. Have in mind that the colors may change according to your system settings. This new version fixes some minor bugs.
This style makes the browser frame have a more native look on Linux. After request, a beta version for Windows users can be found on style Better Browser Frame [Windows]. @vbielawski: I though I had fixed that. Can you provide a screenshot of the problem and the mockup of the fix so I can do it? Know Issues: - Due to problems with the current implementation of the stylings on Linux, the tabs will always change between being integrated to the tabpanel and not being integrated, it is something that can't be fixed without Mozilla changing their underlying code first. - Other unknown issues, this is a “hacky” implementation of such nativeness (although not as much as the Windows version), so there maybe be unknown bugs that I have no knowledge of. Certain Linux themes have usually more bugs than other ones and I unfortunately can't do anything about it (the Ubuntu default theme is an example of such). Version History: 0.1 - Version to finally integrate tabbed and nonn-tabbed browsing to a
This style makes Firefox tabs and browser frame look native on Windows. It is based of style Better Browser Frame [Linux]. A new alpha version of the style that makes only the tabbar native and allows more browser frame width is in System Native tab bar [Windows] [Beta]. Known Issues: - Lots of unknown issues. Have in mind that current Firefox theme settings for tabs is very hacked, so a lot of hacks need to be done for this style to work properly. So slowly I will try to make my best. Version History: - 1alpha1 - - Complete Rewrite. - - More stable Code. - - Size reduction. - - Several bug fixes. -------------------- - 0.5.0.2.2pre - fix for tab scrool buttons being cut out. - 0.5.0.2.1 - fix for tab not mostly left aligned (it is the most I can without it rendering glitchy). - 0.5.0.2 - fix for FaviconsizeTab (thanks to xren) and fix for wrong margin on the left and right of the tabs. - 0.5.0.1 - fix for tab text shifting on hover. - 0.5 Final - removal of beta state. - 0.1.3beta - fix fo
This is a style for forum.camendesign.com, the forums of the site from one of the greatest CSS minds I've ever seen. Basically, this style changes his forums appearance from Comodore64 like to be closely tied to his main site's appearance. On a side note: Google Chrome users using it will need to add 2 rules to the style for it to display correctly: On "body > header h1", you need to replace margin with "-38px 0 0 !important"; and on "body > header hgroup:before" you need to add a left-margin of "105px". I'll try to make it somehow so these changes aren't necessary (I made them very quickly anyway), but for now it is as it is. The search field is also a wreck on Google Chrome, but I am not understanding why.
This is a small style for who doesn't like the red in PortableApps.com, so I've decided to style it in blue. Before I actually made an account in here, I accepted an offer from my friend, alpha1, to post it as style portableapps.com code blue, but as I just updated it to reflect PortableApps.com's new layout changes, I'll host it under my account from now on. Known Issues: - When a person is logged in, hot thread with new posts will still appear in red. It was that or provide no distinguish with the normal threads with new posts, so there is no way to fix it with CSS. Version History: - Version 2.1.02 --- Fixed a bug with donation links. - Version 2.1.01 --- Updated the forum images - Version 2.1 --- Changed several images to fit the layout, retouched the blue link color. - Version 2 --- Redesign to fit the new look of PortableApps.com. - Version 1.01 --- Fix to make table headers white. - Version 1 --- Initial Release.
This is a port of System Native tab bar [Windows] [Beta] to Linux, making only the tab bar native instead of the browser frame. The intent of this style is to make the browser frame more native than it actually is now on Linux. Known Issues: - All issues on style Better Browser Frame [Linux], although this one seems to be less buggy. Version History: 0.0.2 - Minor bug fixes. 0.0.1 - Initial Release.
This is a style based on Better Browser Frame [Windows] that makes only the tab bar native, keeping the browser frame window as wide as usual. I originally saw this style on MozillaZine forums on the Firefox 3 appearance development thread. Eventually I decided to base from it and made this one. This style does have some differences. It allows to see the tabpanels left and right border and the List tabs button is a toolbar button instead of a tab. Known Issues: - Tabs look buggy on several 3rd party themes and classic theme. - Lots of other unknown issues. This style is hacking a lot the default Firefox settings, making it very buggy and very hard to fix bugs. So all the help with code advices and bug reports would be very appreciated. Version History: 0.2beta - Several bugfixes common to style Better Browser Frame [Windows] 0.1beta - Initial Release
userstyles.org changed its layout, so I updated this style, that is a refreshed version of the previous style in this site. It is clean and easy on the eyes, and the ideal for who liked the old style, but noticed it had its bugs. This style also changes the appearance of the forums to match the site's style. Beyond that, I want to thank to LouCypher who made style userstyles.org - Graphical header link, and allowed me to make the header of all pages a lot nicer on the previous 0.* versions. Tested with: Gecko 1.9.1.* (Firefox 3.5), Gecko 1.9.0.* (Firefox 3) and Gecko 1.8.1.* (Firefox 2). Should work with: Any Gecko 1.8.1 browser and up (Firefox 2, Seamonkey 1, Thunderbird 2). Optimized for: Gecko 1.9.1 and up (Firefox 3.5). In any browser with Gecko below 1.9.1 it can throw up some errors due to 1.9.1 specific selectors and it also won't have text shadows on the header nor a gradient below it.
