Google Notebook tweaks

Fixes some of the changes made in the recent UI overhaul. FEATURES: 1) makes notes look flatter; cards are out. 2) makes notes scroll down with the page; so had to fix the formatting toolbar at the top. 3) places the note title & the source link at the bottom of each note 4) styles the addon to make note menu appear in one row 5) hides the following: - page footer - 'add comment' section - 'expand section' link LAST UPDATE: Google, for some reason, poked around with mark-up causing the style to not work properly. Fixed that.

merriam webster - clean up

Strips the page of unwanted elements keeping only the searchbox & the definition. Intended for use with the LookItUp greasemonkey userscript similar to thefreedictionary.com - clean up Update: made the dictionary & thesaurus radio buttons visible Note: 1) If you install this style as a userscript you'll have to manually enter the site rules from the greasemonkey manager dialog to make the script run only on merriam webster. 2) If you have installed the LookItUp userscript edit the iframe width in the settings panel to 440px & add: overflow-x:hidden (to make the horizontal scrollbar go away)

read in peace

Makes it easy to read on web pages especially plain HTML docs. Can be used on any site but it may jangle up the layout a bit. FEATURES: * adds a black spacer on either side of the body * sets font to 'verdana' * increases font size & line spacing ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS: * inspired heavily by the "toggle reading mode bookmarklet" here: http://www.xml-blog.com/pages/toggle-reading-mode-bookmarklet * chanced on the idea in the css file of a Gutenberg HTML NOTE: The style originally only cleaned up bartleby.com. The code still retains a part specific to bartleby.com for those few who'd installed this style earlier. LAST UPDATE: Modified the selector for the footer on bartleby.com

Tabs - add dividers like Séparé

A limited substitute for the extension Séparé [ can be found here: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/1945/ ] Allows you to use blank tabs as separators between groups of adjacent tabs. LAST UPDATE: Made blanks tabs look like separators in the 'List all tabs' menu ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS: * Borrowed code to colour the tabs from LouCypher's Colorize Firefox 2 Active Tab * Also thanks to Greg S for the code to hide the tab icon & text and to reduce the tab width.
