A style to convert Dreamwidth's Tropospherical Purple site scheme into a blue and white scheme reminiscent of Livejournal, including entry comments and other pages, with added page width too. Please note that: 1. You need the Dreamwidth Site Scheme Detector extension for greasemonkey for this style to work. Found here: http://userscripts.org/scripts/source/60535.user.js 2. And of course greasemonkey to install it on, if you don't have it already. Found here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/748/ 3. This style doesn't work properly if installed as a greasemonkey script, nor will it work properly if you have your site scheme set to anything other than "Tropospherical Purple". You can change your site scheme here: http://www.dreamwidth.org/manage/settings/?cat=display For FAQ and more info, please refer here: http://emiri.dreamwidth.org/8232.html
A muted layout for dreamwidth. Widens the layout and dulls the color scheme. For use with the "Tropospherical Purple" scheme on dreamwidth. For instructions on how to use, see http://vigils.dreamwidth.org/7369.html
Modified from Dreamwidth.org - page width fix by moonie. Widens pages in the default site scheme (Tropospherical) including the homepage, inbox, comment pages, etc. Also adds a justify effect to text in this scheme. (If you don't like this effect, just delete the whole line "text-align: justify !important;" to get rid of it.)
So, many of you may already be familiar with emiri's Tropospherical Blue for Dreamwidth skin, that's designed to simulate LJ. But perhaps some of you don't actually mind the gray and pink or gray and purple and just want the content on the default pages to stretch out properly and maybe for the text to be slightly bigger. IF SO THIS IS FOR YOU Basic tweaks included in this skin: --Stretches entry and comments across the page (100%) --Removes the color border from the bottom of the comment boxes (also lightens the gray a bit) --Changes background to white --Makes font bigger (9pt, same size as LJ classic w/Verdana)
Colors visited links on Dreamwidth as if they weren't visited yet.
Style for the Tropospherical site skin. It looks best with Tropo Purple. Notes: - You must install the GreaseMonkey Script called 'Dreamwidth Site Scheme Detector' found at http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/60535 to make it work. It will ensure only site pages are styled. - Secure pages have been purposefully left unstyled. This script will make it so that only subscriptions on Dreamwidth profiles are underlined, instead of all user links.
Dreamwidth.org's site scheme has a max-width property of 80em. Particularly when using bigger or even widescreen monitors, this causes a lot of empty space to appear on either site of pages. (See screenshot.) This tiny bit of CSS changes 80em to 100%, thus reducing the amount of empty space by a lot. (See screenshot.) Note: I haven't found an instance where this *breaks* anything, though when default comment pages are used, the comments don't respect this new setting, and text entry boxes like on the post entry page don't stretch to fit the new width either. If someone knows how to fix those things via CSS, please let me know! moonie.dw at gmail dot com
-- This only applies to the 'old' Post Entry page. The new Create Entries page is flexible and centered. :) -- However, this will also apply to Edit Entry (no new version yet!). -- If you don't like it centered, remove this: margin: 0 auto !important;
