A dark iGoogle theme that's easy on the eyes for those who like high contrast on a dark background. Lightweight and loads extremely fast. No new images are used except for a logo or two. Works great as a userscript on Chrome as well. This style removes the header and footer spacing, so you can really cram a LOT of info on a single page. As a bonus, this style removes some of the header image, and makes the white bar at the top transparent. This works well with a lot of themes I have tried. Because the text is white, it works best on dark themes. To remain visible on light themes, the text now has a shadow so there should be no issues. "Google Web Search - dark blue redesign (vC)" (http://userstyles.org/styles/843) is a great style, but right now it only works with Google Search and Google Images. "Dark iGoogle - Improved one" works with iGoogle, but I don't really like its color theme and prefer dark blue style instead. That being the case, I combined parts of the code from the two styles to extend the dark blue style onto iGoogle, Google Maps, Google Blogs, Google News and other major subpages and I also made a number of additional color and font size tweaks that made the style even more attractive in my personal view. To the original authors: I didn't mean to step on anybody's toes. The only reason I post this is because I was unable to find an all-encompassing Google style myself and I believe somebody else may find this useful, even if this somebody will only be me on another computer. No one uses the search form on the iGoogle because everyone has one on their browsers. So this style will hide the header including the logo of iGoogle. It will leave the thin menu bar at the top of the page. This simple CSS tightens up the standard "Classic" iGoogle look in this 1st draft. Smaller but still readable fonts, tighter white-space control, and 6 newly colored tabs make this very useful for anyone on a lower res screen (my new laptop is limited to a miserable 1024x768). The next version will seek to match tab colors to module colors (currently not easy due to how iGoogle has (mis)managed its elements, but I'm working on it!). In the pre-theme Google Home Page I was able to control column colors as well; I hope to do column differentiation (probably via tones) as well for those who are really anal about organizing content in cols as well as tabs. Then I'll work on a universal streamlining style to mod all iGoogle themes.
This is just a toned-down version of "iGoogle - Hide All The Crap". I just went in and took out some of the things I felt shouldn't be hidden, like the searchbar and the header/user info... Basically, this style hides the side bar and a couple other annoying things in the new iGoogle. UPDATED to remove "Take a tour of iGoogle's new features" link
