Maximizes the area for displaying articles by removing all the stuff that you probably never use anyway. Be ready to learn your keyboard shortcuts though because this is a really stripped down interface. If you want more flexibility, try the Google Reader Absolutely Customizable Greasemonkey script ( http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/58577 ). It has an options dialog to allow you to choose which customizations you want without having to edit the code. Fully compatible with Google Reader Absolutely Dark & Google Reader Absolutely Dark Blue. If you have any suggestions or see something that's screwed up, let me know.

Easy to read Google Reader skin Black background, purple borders, light gray text. I wanted to create an easy to read skin for google reader because the original hurted my eyes during late hours, so I started to learn and practice and finally got some decent, ready-to-share code. Firegub, FontFinder, CustomizeYourWeb & Colorzilla together are the perfect addons combo from Firefox to learn and implement CSS codes for amateur people like me, give it a try. This is not entirely mi creation, part of the code was taken from other styles. I started from Google Reader Dark by Oltra, the star icon code comes from fyre and his style 'Star Icon', the left icons come from Mac OS X Snow Leopard+ Delicious by m.mike kondo. Everything else comes from me, it was hard learning how to, but is fun when you get what you want. Please let me know if it needs some improvement, or even suggestions, I'm all ears. ________________________________ Update: 07-11-09 Background fixed on search results.

Do you want a better, sleeker, cleaner, more readable and minimalistic layout for google products, which to boot even gives your more room for content? This style is for you! Affects all things google, be it gmail, search, google+, groups, reader, news, whatever. The style is simple and straightforward, it just makes google use the same font and font-size for everything, so even if you don't like Tahoma, or find the size too small, but still want google to have a cleaner fixed font look, just edit the font or font size of this style.
