Personally, I only use StrataBuddy (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/14762) for the menus it provides and nothing more, despite its intended purpose for use with Strata40 (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/14284). The problem with this type of usage is that StrataBuddy alters the styling of Fission (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1951), which conflicts with my preference of having Fission styled in other ways. To resolve the issue, I decided to take a look at StrataBuddy's CSS styling of Fission and write a userstyle to cancel it out. And so here it is... enjoy. Note that in order for this to work without applying a second style to Fission, you'll have to go into the StrataBuddy options dialog and uncheck "Progress lines (requires Tab Progress Bar and Fission)" under the "Misc" tab. UPDATE: According to Gordon S., this style also works under Windows 7, so I'm dropping the [Linux] part of the name. The style is still untested under Ma
Based on Tab Progress Bar extension - Native progress bar by teohhanhui and Native-looking progress meter for Fission ext by cheeaun. I rather like the blue progress bar gradient styling in Arora, but neither Fission, Tab Progress Bar, nor Firefox 3.5 and below offer such styling options to begin with, thus requiring an image data URI. However, Firefox 3.6 introduces the -moz-linear-gradient property, which makes gradients in Fission far more feasible. This style takes advantage of this new development and applies a very Arora-esque look to Fission and Tab Progress Bar, with an additional right-hand border applied to better define the Fission bar. Note that this ONLY works in Firefox 3.6 and above. I think I should also mention that although the style is labeled "Linux" and has only been tested on Ubuntu thus far, I'm betting heavily that it will also work on non-Linux systems such as Windows and Mac, though the margins might be a tad off. If you find that it works well on a non-Linux OS, please drop by and leave a comment, if it's not too much to
The progress bar in Fission become animated when loading (like Mac/Ubuntu) Firefox 3.x only for Tab Mix Plus, please go Tab Mix Plus - Animated Progress Bar - I am really sorry that my style is not work some users, so I upload 2 GIF versions for them to use it. However, I am REALLY NECESSARY to know what means of "doesn't work" ... is it means the image not animated? or whole style not work ,or CSS error... if I don't know what is the problem then I cannot adjust it - I have uploaded the APNG for test, if your bowser does support APNG, then the image will not animated. - If you are using firefox 3 and it still not animated, please tell me the config (OS, fx version, any addons/CSS progress bar related) and I will try to fix it ... OR just use the GIF version and leave it not work Fission - Animated Progress Bar GIF (DarkCyan) Fission - Animated Progress Bar GIF (Orange) Sorry again that my bad tone and bad English ------------------------------------------------------- version 0.1.8: change nothing! just the name and I will post the GIF version for so
Changes colors of the URLs in the Location Bar that Fission shows when links are hovered, for Locationbar²-enhanced Location Bars. Fission has an option to show the URL of hovered links in the Location Bar, however, it looks indistinguishable from the usual URL, only the favicon changes to a special icon. It can be difficult with that by itself to recognize when the displayed URL is not the current page, so the official MozillaZine topic gives some CSS to have the text color change as well. That CSS does not work together with Locationbar², if it is installed as well, and Locationbar² by default removes the favicon (though optionally), which makes it even more important. This does basically the same thing as the official code except that it's designed to work with Locationbar², and only with Locationbar². If you want the version that works without Locationbar² installed, it's right at the Home Page link for Fission, so you should probably try that. I'm not going to bother add

I stripped the script from Star button + Location bar: Safari 4 way to isolate the Fission loading bar. I used this style on a Mac, but it should also work with Mac-style Firefox themes on a PC. NOTE: with just about any other theme, you'll need to adjust the margin-top and margin-bottom to fit the Fission progress bar into the urlbar. Adjust the margin until it looks right. SUB-NOTE: Apparently adding a ">" on line 5 of the code fixed the margin differences. If I'm wrong, comment below. Credit goes to m.mike kondo, the creator of the code.
The progress bar was removed in Firefox 4 beta8pre so to get it back you need to install "status-4-evar" add-on here: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/235283/ This style makes the progress bar wide, looking like fission add-on was. It also adds a nice green (windows vista/7 like if you're using one of these two) style to it. Credits to foxxyn8 for the help! Updates: 10/12/2010 - Removed the ugly grey lines on the top and bottom of progress-bar. 02/13/2011 - Fixed the style for 2011.01.17.02.3 version of Status-4-Evar. 02/24/2011 - Added the fix for "wider URL-bar" bug in the latest beta versions of S4E. 03/19/2011 - Updated the style for 2011.03.16.22 version of Status-4-Evar. 08/20/2011 - Updated for Firefox 6.
This style makes the new beta7pre loading bar wide, looking like fission add-on was. It also adds a nice green (windows vista/7 like if you're using one of these two) style to it. Credits to foxxyn8 for the help! Updates: - Changed the color of tab progress bars to green to mach the style. - Fixed a few issues caused by the release of tab progress bars. - Changed the opacity of the gray background to make it less visible. If you want to completely remove the gray background change "opacity: .4 !important;" with "background-image: none !important;" - Fixed an issue where you can't select the address in the url-bar when a page is loading. - The progress bar now starts at the left end of url-bar and do no cover the identity box whatever it's size.
This userstyle emulates the suggested "Progress Line" in the 4.0 mockup of Firefox: https://wiki.mozilla.org/Firefox/4.0_Windows_Theme_Mockups#Combo_Stop.2FRefresh.2FGo_Button. This style modifies Fission: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1951 it's required to make it work. This userstyle was designed to be used in conjunction with the 3.7 mockup theme by BoneyardBrew at: http://boneyardbrew.deviantart.com/art/Firefox-3-7-Mockup-Redux-2-5-130502568 When/If he releases a 4.0 theme I'll add another userstyle suited for it. (The author has contacted me about integrating it into a 4.0 version). You should be able to tweak it to fit other themes, fiddle with the margins. Version 1.1: Switched to base64 instead of the hassle of handling a .png thanks DMCrimson for the idea Switched from background-color: transparent; to background: none; thanks for pointing it out IGLESIAS
Activate this style if you use Stratum Fusion with Fission and LocationBar2 to fix the progress bar alignment issue. Do not activate if you don't have LB2 installed.
