If you look at Google Chrome and its twin SRWare Iron, you'll notice the menus open from the right side. Unfortunately, with the Chromifox Companion add-on (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/10339), the menus open from the more typical left side. This style sets the menu direction on Chromifox Companion from LTR to RTL, and then sets the direction of the menu contents back from RTL to LTR, resolving the problem. Enjoy!
NOTE: Some people seem to have issues with Chromifox Companion 0.9.9.5, the latest version of the add-on. However, version 0.9.9 seems to work.
UPDATE (02/01/2010): Fixed menu background direction on Windows by using the -moz-transform property.
