It's a little trick to hide the search-go-button in the search bar, which increase the space for the search box.

Ok, i didnt know that it was enough with one line:
#searchbar .search-go-button-stack {display: none !important;}

Install options
- Install Stylish for Firefox, Thunderbird, Flock, Mozilla Suite, SeaMonkey, or Songbird. If you have Stylish already, make sure you're using the latest version and have JavaScript enabled.
- You need Firefox to use this style. Get , then Install Stylish, then come back here to install this style.
- - load into the Stylish extension where you can preview and save it.
- - this style has been updated since you installed it in Stylish.
